In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Leaf Tickets can be used to expedite many of the game’s time-gated processes. Here’s how to get them.

As a free-to-play mobile game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp relies on microtransactions. Many of its processes are gated behind timed restrictions. Leaf Tickets are a way to expedite these processes.

Leaf Tickets are one of two currencies in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the other being Bells. Unlike Bells, you can actually purchase Leaf Tickets with real money. However, there are some ways to obtain Leaf Tickets for free just by playing the game.

The most straight-forward way to get free Leaf Tickets is by leveling up or simply logging in. When playing the game, you can also get Leaf Tickets by completing Stretch and Timed Goals.

Stretch Goals are basically objectives you can complete over the course of just playing the game, with no set deadline. Timed Goals have a time limit/deadline and are typically associated with in-game events.

Some examples of Stretch Goals that will reward you with Leaf Tickets include:

  • Become a campsite manager: x10 Leaf Tickets
  • Link a Nintendo Account: x100 Leaf Tickets
  • Catch 5 bugs: x10 Leaf Tickets
  • Harvest 5 fruits: x10 Leaf Tickets
  • Chat with an animal while he or she is visiting your campsite: x30 Leaf Tickets
  • Befriend another player: x10 Leaf Tickets
  • Befriend 5 other players: x20 Leaf Tickets
  • Place 4 polka-dot series items at your campsite: x10 Leaf Tickets
  • Invite 4 animals to your campsite: x10 Leaf Tickets

As you can see, the list of Stretch Goals that reward Leaf Tickets is pretty lengthy, but it is finite. Alternatively, there are Timed Goals.

Host the Most are a type of Timed Goal that typically come when a new villager is introduced. Not every Host the Most event will reward you with Leaf Tickets; it changes each time.

There are also Event Challenges. These are events that last for a period of time and usually celebrate a season or promotional event. These will also typically have some sort of Leaf Ticket reward as well as specially themed items.

Beyond that, the only other way to obtain Leaf Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is to buy them with money. Because they can be rare, it’s recommended that beginners spend Leaf Tickets on additional crafting, inventory, and market box slots. These will help make the game much more manageable.
