Animal Crossing: New Horizons and other Nintendo Switch games coming in March

Hope you’ve got your bags packed because we’re about to purchase a vacation package from good ol’ Tom Nook. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the highlight for the Nintendo Switch next month, releasing on March 20.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons should feel familiar to fans of the franchise. At its core, the gameplay loop is very much inline with previous installments. You move to the island, explore and perform tasks for your neighbors and the townsfolk, like fishing, catching insects, discovering fossils and decorating your home.
New Horizons does incorporate some new elements however, such as Pocket Camp‘s crafting system that allows you to craft tools and furniture from various materials you gather. There’s also multiplayer with up to four players locally or eight players online; the NookPhone to access things like photo mode, crafting recipes and the multiplayer; and Nook Miles, a new in-game currency you earn by completing tasks which can be used to pay off your house loan or purchase premium items.

Although Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the highlight of March, the Nintendo Switch does have some other exciting games coming next month as well. Coming on March 6 is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, a remake of the 2005 games Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team.
There’s also Doom 64 coming on March 20. This is a re-release of the 1997 Nintendo 64 game, which was a sequel to Doom II. Fans of the original Doom games will feel right at home here as they battle through 32 hellish levels filled with demons.
