Black Friday is finally upon us and we’ve put together a comprehensive guide for where you can find all the best video game deals today and through the weekend.

Happy Black Friday! Hopefully, by now you’ve recovered from your turkey coma and plan to head out to brave shopping storm known as Black Friday. The ultimate shopping day of the year is finally here and with it comes tons of discounts, including hundreds of deals across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

From consoles to games to accessories, there are tons of discounts today that will run through the weekend. While most major retailers have largely the same selection when it comes to video games bundles, some of the individual game prices do vary slightly.

But even beyond the deals, we’ve got some advice for you, including which games are among the best you should buy this year, and whether or not it’s worth buying an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 with the next console generation coming out.

We’ve got all you need to know about Black Friday 2019 in this article below. Check out all of the deals below!

Where to shop for the best gaming deals?

When it comes to finding discounts on video games, the major retailers — GameStop, Target, Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon — are probably your best bets. But there are also discounts to be found at some of the less big-named electronic stores, such as Costco and Kohl’s.

Many retailers have previously released their Black Friday ads leading up to today, and we’ve compiled the best of each one already. Check out each individual retailer’s discounts below:

In addition to major retailers, you can also find discounts on games through the digital Xbox and PlayStation storefronts. Microsoft, in particular, makes it super easy to purchase consoles through their website as well.

Most retailers are offering the same video game console bundles this year. For PS4, it’s the three-game bundle with The Last of Us Remastered, God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn for $199. For Nintendo Switch, it’s the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle for $299.

Xbox is probably the one with the most variety when it comes to holiday offers on their consoles. They’ve got the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition or $150 off any Xbox One X bundle.

In terms of games, this is where it gets a little tricky because there are so many to choose from. Prices do vary slightly from retailer to retailer but, by and large, most of the games are around the same price this year.

PlayStation Hits like God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Uncharted 4 are half-price and available for only $9.99 just about everywhere. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for just $38. Even some of 2019’s biggest games, like The Outer Worlds and Borderlands 3 are discounted today.

Don’t worry, we’ve already compiled a list of where you can find the best deals and lowest prices for each console. Whether you’re looking for Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo, each console’s best prices can be found below.

Before we wrap this whole thing up, there is one last question you may need to be answered. Should you buy an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 this year knowing that the next-gen consoles are coming out in 2020? We’ve got you covered!

Good luck out there, everybody. Black Friday can be a madhouse, but as long as we all remain respectful, calm and courteous, there’s no reason it can’t also be fun.
