Walmart Black Friday 2019: PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch deals revealed

A little late to the game, Walmart has finally revealed its Black Friday 2019 ad, announcing all sorts of deals on PS4, Xbox One and Switch consoles, games and more.

With just two weeks until Black Friday, Walmart has finally released its ad catalog for what is undoubtedly the biggest shopping day of the year. Walmart’s sale is pretty much in line with the other major retailers who have released their Black Friday plans, with discounts offered on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch console bundles, games and accessories.

With Walmart having announced its deals, we now have Black Friday 2019 discounts for most major retailers, including Target, Best Buy and Kohl’s. We’re still waiting on a few more, like GameStop and Amazon, but they should be announced shortly.

Here are some of the PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo gaming deals that Walmart will be offering on Black Friday.

Xbox One

Walmart is going all-in on Xbox One with multiple console bundles. There’s quite a few to choose from depending on what style Xbox One you want and which games you prefer.

Xbox One S 1TB Star Wars Jedi Bundle – $199 ($100 savings)

This is probably my preferred bundle because it includes the game I’m most interested – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game launches on November 15 so by the time Black Friday rolls around, you should have a decent idea as to how it is and whether or not this bundle is worth it.

Xbox One S 1TB All-Digital Edition Console – $149

If you don’t mind the inability to purchase physical discs, this is a good option as it features three digital games: Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves.

Xbox One X 1TB Console Gears 5 Bundle – $349

If you’re looking for the most powerful Xbox One console, this is the bundle to get. It features Gears 5, which is easily one of the system’s biggest exclusive blockbusters of the year.

Like other retailers, Xbox One Controllers will be available for $39 each. This even includes the Winter Forces camo or Midnight Forces II camo options.

PS4

PlayStation 4 1TB Bundle – $199

There’s not a whole lot of variety when it comes to PS4 console bundles this year, but the one that retailers are advertising is a good one. For $199, you can get the PlayStation 4 1TB Bundle, which includes The Last of Us Remastered and digital downloads for God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition. Both TLoU and GoW were on our must-buy PS4 games for Black Friday list, and Horizon Zero Dawn is a great play as well.

You’ll also be able to purchase PS4 DualShock 4 Controllers for $39 each.

Xbox One & PS4 Games

Walmart has a ton of games on sale this Black Friday and most multiplatform games will be discounted for both Xbox One and PS4.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – $38

Surprisingly, this is actually slightly more expensive than what other retailers will be selling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for on Black Friday. The ad specifically mentions that this sale will be for both PS4 and Xbox.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – $299

This is the same bundle offered just about everywhere else this year, and is technically the same one from last year. It includes the older model of Nintendo’s hybrid console along with a digital download code for Mario Kart 8. While it’s not the premiere Switch title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey are both also being discounted this year.  In fact, Walmart will have both of those games on sale for $30 each.

Walmart will also be selling Nintendo Switch Retro Wireless Controllers in a variety of designs for $29. These controller savings will be exclusive to Walmart.
