Hallowed Flame, the special limited-time Halloween tactical alert in Warframe, is now live. Follow this guide to complete it and earn rewards.

Warframe‘s annual Halloween event, Hallowed Flame, went live yesterday. This year’s Tactical Alert features three missions plus a final endurance mode that will reward you with all sorts of spooky prizes.

Hallowed Flame is a pretty straight-forward event, requiring you to complete three missions before unlocking the fourth and final node, an Endurance mode. You can locate these specific nodes from the “Events” tab of your Navigation console, or you can access them from Earth.

Can you survive the night? In Hallowed Flame, you’ll have to seek out the Zealoid and destroy him to obtain the Lantern; its light capable of shedding the invulnerability of enemies. You must keep the Lantern charged by killing enemies in what is essentially a horde mode.

Only one Lantern is dropped from the Zealoid, so if you’re running the missions in a Squad, you’ll probably have to have some type of coordination to stay within its light. Whoever is holding the Lantern will be the center point of its light, with a blue circle indicating its reach. You must stay within its range to be able to kill enemies and charge it.

Although the Lantern will work if it’s left on the ground, enemies will spawn in new areas around the map, so you’ll have to pick it up and move it to the new horde area to maintain its charge. You are also able to drop the Lantern to pass it to another squad member by simply swapping from your Secondary weapon.

There are three missions you must complete, each increasing in time and difficulty. Completing them will earn you the following rewards:

Mission 1: Orokin Catalyst
Mission 2: Forma
Mission 3: Aura Forma

Once you complete these three missions, you’ll unlock the Endurance Mode node. If completed, you’ll earn the Naberus Ephemera and Stratos Emblem if you can reach the required single-run score of 900. Although you can extract after five minutes, as an Endurance Mode, you may just want to stay as long as you can to test your skill.

Although there are Clan Leaderboards available, there are no Trophies for the Hallowed Flame since it’s a Tactical Alert that’s simply supposed to be a fun Halloween-themed event to celebrate the season. But Clan bragging rights are fun, right?

Warframe‘s Hallowed Flame runs until November 1, ending at 2:00 p.m. ET. If you miss out on this year’s event, you’ll have to wait until next Halloween to obtain the Naberus Ephemera.
