GRID – October 11 – PC, Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia

GRID is an upcoming racing game from Codemasters running on EGO Engine 3.0. If you are a fan of racing games, this one is definitely the one to look out for. With the original release date pushed back, the game speeds onto consoles, PC and Stadia on October 11.

In addition to the super cool graphics and hardcore racing action, GRID offers the choice of driving in third-person view or the simulation view. From the details on design and sounds, Codemasters have done a ton of research in creating realistic cars. If we were to take the reactions and comments of Beta testers, you are not going to be disappointed with any aspect of the game whether it be graphics, the sound of the revving engines or the game mechanics.

One of the unique features of the game is its AI system a.k.a. “Nemesis System”. The game and drivers seem to adapt and evolve as the race progresses. If you are too pushy on any of the particular cars, it will begin to retaliate and hit you back. This game includes a database of 400 different AI drivers, each with different personalities and a style of racing of their own.

In this game, Fernando Alonso would be acting as a “Racing Consultant,” giving you advice on how to handle cars and for the single-player campaign final event it’s a 1v1 race against him.
