30 Best iPhone Games Of 2015

19. Dark Echo
No platform seems like a better fit for minimalist games than mobile, and Dark Echo certainly belongs in that category. It’s a horror game, for sure, but a long way removed from the jump scares of titles like the Five Nights at Freddy’s series.
In fact, it’s almost like an advertisement for sonar or Daredevil’s radar sense. You’ve got to use the information provided by sound waves that bounce off objects to help make it through the game’s 80 levels, and you’ve got to work quickly to avoid falling prey to and evil that “devours both sound and souls.” Spooky!
This isn’t the first game to say you should play it in the dark with your headphones on, but trust us, that really is the way to go here. Let’s hear it (no pun intended) for smart game design.
