It's Wrestlemania time in the WWE, and even the warriors from Supercell's hit Clash of Clans are getting in on the action. During the Clashamania season, the game will take on some WWE-themed aesthetic and feature some Undertaker-approved events.
From April 2-30, the Clashamania scenery will turn your village into a packed WWE arena! If'd you like to dress your hero up in some WWE-style skins, until April 30 earn Legendary Skins KIng Cody, Brutality Queen, Prince Mysterio, Darkness Warden, and The RoyalEST.
Also through April 30, Army Camps are now Fighting Rings. Some WWE Superstars will be friendly, while some, well they'll act like WWE Superstars. In the Friend or Foe Medal Event, earn Champ Medals to unlock Action Figure Epic Equipment for Archer Queen. You can also use those medals to unlock the Super Decoration Surprise Wheel.
Through April 28, the Strongman is bringing back Clan Games back. Work with your Clan, tackle his epic tasks, and earn rewards.
WWE icon Cody Rhodes (OverlordRHODES on Clash, apparently) is a huge gamer who has appeared on Austin Creed's UpUpDownDown YouTube channel several times. He started playing right after the game's 2012 launch, and has been in an active clan ever since. In a Quickfire questions interview with JudoSloth, Rhodes said his clan kicked John Cena relatively early. I bet that's the real reason Cena turned heel for the first time in 20 years, kicked Cody in the junk, and sided with Hollywood Rock.
Also, his commercials for this promotion have been great.
Clash of Clans has been downloaded more than 770 million times, and surpassed more than $1 billion in annual revenue. This heavily advertised promotion with WWE will no doubt garner millions of new players.
