If you can't see John Cena and end up losing to him in WWE Supercard, now you can become stronger and try again. The card battler's latest update adds Super Showdown, a roguelike game mode in which you draft a set of cards and progress as far as you can. After that, it's time to dust yourself, and try again. Remember what John Cena says, never give up! The influence of 2024 GOTY contender Balatro is apparent. If you're gonna steal, steal from the best in the genre.

There are changes to the PvP mode as well, as it has evolved into Leagues. This new structure will have better weekly rewards, including a League-specific special edition card that refreshes with each new rarity. It will be a guaranteed reward for the top two leagues. Madden's Ultimate Team does something similar with its Top 100 rewards. Players can earn more League Points both through challenges and multipliers.

An update to the campaign allows players to skip maps based on their level. Milestone rewards will now correspond to levels and maps completed. Four new card rarities: Ignition, Void, Prize, and Adventure have also arrived to mix up the mayhem.

I'll admit, it has been a minute since I fired up some WWE Supercard. I'll definitely stop back in to see what all these new changes are about, and I'll keep you in the loop if I enjoy what they're doing. I love WWE, and I love it when it branches out into genres I wouldn't have expected.
