Say his name, and people pre-order WWE 2K26. It's been obvious for a while that WWE has strapped a rocket to the back of former TNA standout Joe Hendry. Its WWE 2K26 promotional efforts confirm that, as the rising star will have his own DLC available for the game's March 13 launch.
Players who pre-order starting today receive the exclusive Joe Hendry pack, which includes Hendry, an "I Believe" T-shirt, an EVO card for My Faction (WWE 2K's My Team mode), and a Spin Island emote. Hendry has gone viral for his unique brand of charisma and incredibly catchy theme song. which has become part of his gimmick. The lyric "Say his name, and he appears" has turned into a bit in which other wrestlers summon him like Beetlejuice.
He drew huge attention as part of WWE's recent partnership with TNA Wrestling, leading the E to sign him to what is reportedly a main roster-level contract in November 2025. This promotion is a big deal. Pre-order bonuses usually include well-established talents such as Roman Reigns, or legends such as The Undertaker. Both of them were bonuses for WWE 2K25 pre-orders. WWE may also be trying to get a little better about matching its in-game promotion efforts with current storylines.
As I opined last year, El Grande Americano wasn't available until September despite being involved in a big storyline. Luckily for him, WWE's Travis Scott plans fell apart leaving a space for another wrestler. You never know who's going to be a hot commodity six months from now. But barring being sidelined by an injury, Hendry seems as safe a bet as anybody to still be popular in March and for much of the year to come.
