WWE 2K26 is coming soon, and we're no longer living off unofficial leaks for information. 2K Games themselves have revealed covers for the Attitude Era and Monday Night War Editions of WWE 2K26, and there is one more cover left to be revealed.
Gracing the cover of the Attitude Era Edition is a 90s Who's Who of WWE elite, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, and The Undertaker. The Monday Night War Edition includes the likes of the recently retired Bill Goldberg, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, and five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time WCW Champion Booker T.
Hey, with this roster we can do an invasion angle and not have it be extremely bad! Now, I'm hearing a few complaints about these editions prioritizing nostalgia over promoting the current roster. But it's not like WWE doesn't do the same thing a lot of the time. We saw Goldberg far more camera time than anyone would have imagined in 2025, culminating in a surprisingly good retirement match against Gunther.

I'll admit I'm a veteran of the Monday Night Wars, and one of my favorite things about these sports games is bringing some of the legends back and educating these youngsters playing online. I loved playing Muhammad Ali in WWE 2K24. I am very, very sad that Ali is now exclusive to Undisputed, an alright boxing game, through 2037.
Who's ready to apply - the Stone Cold, by gawd, the Stone Cold Stunner! Pre-orders for WWE 2K26 start January 30.
