What does the NBA and the WWE have in common? Both companies have athletes that are playable wrestlers in WWE 2K25!
The WWE and NBA has had their fair share of interactions over the years. One of the more recent memorable ones took place last year on an episode of WWE Smackdown. During that episode we saw NBA stars Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson get in on some action by going at one another. It would only take about a year later until we saw these two confront each other once again, but this time on the NBA court.
Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson went toe to toe in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Finals where we saw both teams give it their absolute everything. However, it would be the Pacers that would prevail in six games to cement themselves a place in the 2025 NBA Finals. In honor of Haliburton and Brunson's rivalry over the past year, WWE 2K25 has decided to take their rivalry to the next level and feature both of them as playable wrestlers in the game.
Three Playable NBA Stars have made their way into WWE 2K25
If you want to see Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson go head-to-head in a WWE ring, you are going to have to purchase the Dunk and Destruction Pack. This DLC pack is the second of five that will be making its way into WWE 2K25, and it is available now.
This pack not only includes Haliburton and Brunson, but you will also get to play as NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal, WWE Champion The Great Khali, and ex TNA wrestler The Abyss. All five of these athletes will be included in the Dunk and Destruction DLC pack.
To go along with this second DLC pack, there has also been a free update issued as well. This update adds a new arena, along with Chapter 3 of The Island game mode.
