Like most new consoles, the Nintendo Switch 2 is sort of yawning its way to life. A steady influx of new titles would certainly help matters, and it sounds like WWE 2K25 is leaping to the front of that list. The WWE Games X account has posted a video featuring everybody's favorite evil stable, the Judgment Day:
You never know when the next match will begin… Be ready to throw down anytime, anywhere. #WWE2K25 Announcement coming soon 🔜 pic.twitter.com/XjF0qlq1sN

This would be the first WWE 2K title to appear on a Nintendo console since WWE 2K18, which sounds crazy. After all, the Nintendo 64 was home to some of the greatest wrestling games ever made, including WCW/NWO World Tour and WWF No Mercy. Before that, it gave us Pro Wrestling on the NES, and the classic gaming meme "A Winner Is You."
One of the first things that would happen after any new cross platform effort in the past console generation was the frightening screenshots of how bad it looked on the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully those days are over new with a brand new more powerful system. Clearly 2K seems to believe, as NBA 2K will appear on the Switch 2 as well.
As any of our regular readers know, I am a huge fan of WWE 2K25. If you're a fan of the programming, there is no reason I can think of to not own a copy. It boasts a roster of some 300 superstars, including current athletes such as Roman Reigns, legends such as Bruno Sammartino, and celebrity guests including Shaquille O' Neal. Now it appears Switch 2 owners will be able to get in on the fun.
