In case you haven't heard, Monday Night Raw made its Netflix debut this week. This was a big chance for the WWE machine to sell us lots of upcoming things including Wrestlemania, the Royal Rumble, and WWE 2K25.

Roman Reigns, fresh off a victory over Solo Sikoa to establish Reigns as the Tribal Chief, talked with his manager Paul Heyman about a platform to speak on his greatness. He then closed a door with the WWE 2K25 logo. Is that a possible tease for Reigns as the cover athlete?

Or perhaps it's time to feature Reigns in a showcase mode, taking us from his early days with The Shield to becoming one of the most dominant champions in WWE history. I'm still betting on a John Cena cover, since he has announced his retirement in 2025. Of course, they have multiple covers now so both of these could happen.

For example, WWE 2K24 had covers featuring Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and the late Bray Wyatt. These are all just teases right now, but 2K Games said some official info on the next wrestling title is coming Jan. 28.

WWE 2K24 was so good, I'm hoping they can keep the momentum going. I thought it had a shot to win Sports Game of the Year at The Game Awards. But seriously, what do I know? I loved the gameplay, the roster, the Wrestlemania Showcase, WWE 2K24 is a candidate to stay on the hard drive if I'm not thrilled with 2K25. 2K has been cooking recently with these titles, though.
