Wolves Esports and BiliBili Gaming (BLG) saw each other again in a rematch of the China region's stage one lower finals match.

With both teams finding themselves in an elimination match again, it would be Wolverhampton’s esports extension that would be victorious and get their revenge.

Heading into map one, it would be BLG’s map pick, Ascent with them starting on the attacking side and Wolves Esports starting on the defence.

At the start of the first half, it looked like any lead wasn’t safe as both teams would be going back and forth on both sites.

BLG would mostly be playing for picks staying on the aggressive side especially when they knew they had the Wolves outside of the site.

Wolves Esports' game plan was mostly looking for more post-plant plays and playing aggressive defence whenever BLG were playing reserved.

This game plan worked out perfectly for them as they would break the tie in round 7 and win three more rounds after that, but it would be BLG’s patience that would win them the final two rounds of the first half.

With Wolves Esports leading 7-5 at the half, it would be their alpha SiuFatBB who was leading the team with 14 Kills, 6 Deaths and 7 Assists.

BiliBili Gaming’s Whzy and Knight would be the only members in the positive with Whzy having  12 Kills, 8 Deaths and a single assist, while Knight had 11 Kills, 9 Deaths and 4 Assists.

Going into the second half of Ascent, it wouldn’t take long for Wolves Esports to win the first map as they would bury BLG, winning 6 rounds in a row.

It would be 13-5 with map MVP being Wolves In Game Lead (IGL) SiuFatBB with 17 Kills, 10 Deaths and 8 Assists.

Wolves Esports smelled blood in the water and a playoff run came, they would try to hunt BiliBili Gaming for some revenge, but BLG wouldn’t go down without a fight.

Going into map two it would be the Wolves map pick of Split.

Going into Split BLG would show some fight and energy, as they would be leading 3-1, four rounds into map two.

It wouldn’t take long for Wolves Esports to tie the match and lead it, but just as fast as the Wolves got the lead, BLG would tie again, showing they were still here and hungry, but they wouldn’t be able to capitalize as Wolves would gain the lead again.

BiliBili Gaming would take a timeout and gain some much-needed energy, but it would prove to be useless as Wolves Esports would win three more rounds to close the half with a score of 8-4.

Wolves Esports' Spring would be leading the charge during the first half with 14 Kills, 10 Deaths and 2 Assists, while BLG's Whzy would be showing the fight to the Wolves with 12 Kills, 10  Deaths and 6 Assists.

Coming into the second half on the attacking side, BLG would come out guns blazing, winning four rounds in a row, effectively tying the match at 8-8.

Though Wolves Esports would grow their lead and win another 5 rounds, and in between those 5 rounds, BLG would only get two rounds, ending the match at 13-10.

Spring would get map MVP with 21 Kills, 16 Deaths and 5 Assists.

He would also get match MVP with a total of 38 Kills, 27 Deaths and 17 Assists across the two maps.

With Wolves Esports winning, they advance to the playoffs and get revenge on BiliBili Gaming by kicking them out of VCT Masters Toronto.
