In the past few months, many rumors have been circulating about the next Sony PlayStation State of Play event. But now, these rumors and leaks have grown even stronger with the release date of the event as well.
According to famous gaming insider NateTheHate, who previously revealed the leaks of Nintendo Switch 2, the next State of Play event is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14, 2025.

What can fans expect?
Before we begin, we would like to inform you that this information is based on leaks and rumors. The official date and announcement are still not out by Sony..
But fans and gamers have already begun to speculate as to what they can expect from this event. The main rumors involve the two major titles: Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yōtei.
It is expected that the release date for both of these games might be announced with some more updates. There are also rumors about the Xbox games that might be heading to PS5.
Apart from this, the God of War Greek saga remasters and information on the Insomniac Wolverine game are also getting some heat for this event. Recently, Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price has announced he's stepping down from his position, and Ryan Schneider, Chad Dezern, and Jen Huang will now serve as co-studio heads.
There are also some fans who are expecting that Rockstar Games might announce something during the PlayStation State of Play event. During the recent Take-Two Interactive investor call meeting (parent company of Rockstar), they confirmed that GTA 6 will be released in fall 2025.
Now with the PlayStation State of Play event approaching, they might surprise the fans with a 2nd trailer or release date announcement. However, this is very unlikely to happen, and you should not have any false hope for that.
Some fans are also hoping to get any announcement related to Resident Evil 9. It has been confirmed that the game is in development. Many leaks and rumors are also surfacing around the internet and gaming forums.

and included games like Astro Bot, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Palworld, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
