WCW Pack for WWE 2K24 is live, still includes the Iron Sheik

Self high five! The legendary Diamond Dallas Page headlines the WWE 2K24 WCW DLC Pack. Joining DDP in this pack are "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Lex Luger, the Great Muta, and the Iron Sheik. Fans were concerned because Sheik had suddenly disappeared from recent promotional efforts, such as the trailer reveal on WWE Smackdown.
The Iron Sheik, a thoroughly 80s heel, did a great job of reinventing himself in the era of social media. He appeared on an episode of Jerry Springer, he shared great stories about the cocaine and steroid era of 80s wrestling, and pretty much never broke character. The Sheik was always "over," as they say in the business.
Sheik was far better known for his WWE career than his WCW exploits, so perhaps that was behind the decision to feature him less in marketing. I don't care how we got the Iron Sheik, I'm glad that we got him. It's possible Hulkamania never happens without him as the evil, anti-American heel. If Hulkamania doesn't happen, pro wrestling might not be on TV before 3 a.m. on your local access channel.
As is usually the case with new DLC wrestlers, all these athletes also get cards in MyFACTION mode. They also add 55 new moves and taunts, which are also usable for created wrestlers. As an additional bonus, we're getting the arena for classic WCW pay-per-view, Fall Brawl WarGames. There's also a new locker code, WARGAMES. It grants a deluxe Singlet Supreme II pack, a Liv Morgan Galaxy Opal free agent card, and 15,000 VC.
