Steel City Interactive's Undisputed stepped up to appease boxing fans who haven't had a game featuring their favorite fighters in a long time. It's continuing with updates that add more unique fighters to an already large pool. The Takeover Pack is headlined by Teofimo Lopez, who earned the moniker "Takeover" by becoming a two-division world champion.
Lopez isn't alone in this DLC. Courtesy of Steel City, here are the other fighters stepping between the ropes in this pack.
- Emanuel Augustus, also known as "The Drunken Master," was a talented boxer from the late '90s to the early 2010s. Known for his very untraditional, almost erratic fighting style, making him a challenging opponent.
- Janibek Alimkhanuly is a highly skilled and dangerous middleweight boxer from Kazakhstan, known for his impressive amateur background and rapid rise in the professional ranks.
- Sebastian Fundora is an American born professional boxer; his parents are from two countries with rich boxing history Cuba and Mexico. He quickly gained attention in the super welterweight division for his unique combination of height, reach, and fighting style. Fundora stands tall at 6′6″, making him the tallest active boxing world champion, earning him the nickname "Towering Inferno."
- Tim Tsyzu is an Australian professional boxer and rapidly becoming one of the top stars in the super welterweight division. Despite being the son of legendary former light-welterweight world champion, Kostya Tszyu, he's carved out his own name in the sport with a blend of technical skills, power, and a relentless fighting style.
- Diego Corrales was one of the most exciting and talented boxers of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Known for his warrior mentality, explosive power, and willingness to engage in dramatic, back-and-forth battles, Corrales became a legend in the sport, due to his unforgettable fights that left boxing fans with lasting memories.
Undisputed stirred up so much interest in boxing games that EA Sports is reportedly going to make like Rocky Balboa and unretire. Its Fight Night series set the standard all other boxing games have been measured by since.
But as UFC surpassed boxing in mainstream popularity, EA focused its efforts on MMA instead. If Fight Night returns, it will have to do so without "The Greatest." Muhammad Ali is exclusive to the Undisputed series through 2037.
