The shakeups at Man City eSports continue. The club has announced that Donovan "Tekkz" Hunt will leave pending the completion of his contract. Tekkz is one of the best EA Sports FC players in the world, with two ePremier League championships and a 2019 FIFA eClub World Cup to his name. Man City is the first organization to earn three ePremier League Championships.

t’s fair to say Tekkz leaves City having created not just a legacy at the Club but also in the Esports community," Man City said in a statement on its website. "Everyone at City would like to thank Tekkz for his hard work during his time with the Club, and we wish him the very best of luck in his future career steps."

What might those steps be? Tekkz is only 24, after all., and still playing the game at an incredibly high level. We'll surely hear something about that soon. And what about Man City eSports? Tekkz's departure comes just days after the team announced rising Spanish star Ander "Neat" Tobal has left the team. Neat played in the eSports World Cup Last Chance Qualifier, but didn't qualify for the finals.

One thing's certain, Man City's EA Sports FC squad will look way different next season. Maybe they'll be able to take advantage of EA Sports FC's new changes, designed to attract even more players to the competitive side of things.

Players who reach Division 4 in Rivals will PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S from Sept. 22nd- Oct.1 gain access to the FC Pro, with PlayStation 5 players eligible for progression to the FC Pro Open Regional Qualifiers.
