Travis Hunter is the most fun card Madden 26 Ultimate Team has had in years

It's never fun to shell out a couple of hundred thousand coins for a single MUT card. But believe it or not, Travis Hunter's 87 overall Game Time card in Madden 26 is one of the best values in the game. By paying for and playing Hunter, you're getting the best cornerback in the game and the best wide receiver for the price of one card. It's worth it.

We often use terms such as "video game numbers" or "cheat code" when describing freakish athletes, but what Hunter can do in Madden has never been seen before. EA had to come up with a whole new superstar ability, Iron Man, which makes Hunter's stamina drain slower than a normal athlete.

He is the kind of player that you would previously only see in the most unrealistic of sports game career modes. One player dominating on both sides of the ball in football? Largely unheard of after the high school ranks. From a team building standpoint, this card will save me money as long as I'm able to use him. That's one less player I need to budget for, allowing me to splurge somewhere else on the field. I'm pretty sure an 87 overall won't be the last card Hunter gets this year, so he'll get really comfortable on my squad.

This version of Hunter is already one of the best cards in MUT history. He's part of a Madden 26 MUT start that offers a lot of cheap cards to help us build. So far this year, even the free cards that come from the Season Pass have been usable. That's the right direction for the game. I'm fine losing if my opponent played better, I hate losing to their credit card.
