No. 9 - Monkey Madness II
Monkey Madness II is widely considered the easiest of the five Grandmaster quests, and for good reason. Most players who do it for the first time probably kill Glough, the final boss, without knowing, exactly, what they’re really supposed to be doing, as his mechanics (or lack thereof) kind of leave a bit to be desired.
But this was the game’s first ever Grandmaster quest, and it was the first quest to be released after players waited more than three years following the OSRS launch in February 2013. At that time, it was easily the game’s toughest quest.
As with any Grandmaster quest, the main fight isn’t the only challenging fight of the quest. The preceding fight against the Demonic Gorillas is arguably more challenging than the Glough fight, in fact, and let’s not underestimate the complexity of Kruk’s dungeon – and even the fight with Kruk.
Keef and Kob are sort of forgotten-about bosses in this quest, and they are also no joke.
Are we forgetting anything? Oh, right; the infamous stealth section on the airship platform, which requires you to gather the gear needed to destroy the platform, put the gear in place to do so, and do so without being spotted by the Monkeys. Sounds simple enough.
