Obtaining the Quest Point Cape is one of the most common goals among Old School RuneScape (OSRS) members. Since OSRS was released in February 2013, when the game was based on how the game existed in August 2007, a total of 43 quests have been added to the list of 127 that already existed.
It’s not a stretch to say that the ceiling of quest difficulty has skyrocketed since the game has evolved over the past 12-plus years, and many of the game’s toughest quests are among the quests that have been released since May 2016, which is when the first new quest went live.
What are the game’s toughest quests? Here are our top 10.
No. 10 - Perilous Moons
The number 10 spot goes to Perilous Moons, though it faced some pretty stiff competition from a number of other tough quests, including but not limited to Master quests Curse of Arrav and Fremennik Exiles, and even Experienced quests Heart of Darkness, Taste of Hope, and A Kingdom Divided.
All of those quests, like all 10 quests on this list, are quests that did not exist when OSRS was released.
What has this 2024 Master quest release positioned inside the top 10 is the battle against the Blood Moon; the battles against the Blue Moon and the Eclipse Moon are fairly straightforward, even though they each have unique mechanics.
But the Blood Moon can be particularly tricky due to its ability to heal, though if you are so inclined, there is a way to heal yourself by attacking the Blood Jaguar and then walking into the blood pool before he attacks you back.
Thus far, this is the only Master quest among the Varlamore quests, though that is set to change with the upcoming release of The Final Dawn. Will that one be even tougher?
