His true superpower is corporate synergy. Marvel's latest movie, Thunderbolts, is drawing rave reviews with many calling it the best MCU offering since Avengers: Endgame. A costume inspired by the movie will arrive soon in Marvel Rivals.
As a free-to-play title, the sale of skins is one of the biggest ways NetEase Games is going to get into our wallets. As my cousin once said, explaining his skin purchase to his wife, "You wanna look like you know you're what you're doing in the game." So true, so true.
The new Winter Soldier threads arrive May 1, with a Hellfire Gala themed in-game event to come shortly after May 2. After completing a series of Hellfire Gala moments, players can unlock the "Patch" skin for Wolverine.
Patch is an alias used by Wolverine on the island of Madripoor during a time when the X-Men were in hiding. He seemed like just another seedy citizen of the crime-ridden island. But when he wasn't drinking or gambling, he was out being the best there is at what he does.
Rivals players have the option to unlock another costume through the Gala Star vote. Players can vote up to 10 times, with the winner awarded a new Hellfire Gala costume that will be free during next year's event.
After a year of warping realities and saving the world (or worlds) the Gala is a time for the X-Men to relax, kick back, and celebrate with their superhero friends. Elaborate outfits are the order of the day, because nobody throws a party quite like the White Queen Emma Frost. Of course, a villain has to show up, and this year it's the diabolical robot Ultron. Emma is already in the game as a powerful vanguard.
Ultron will join soon as a strategist, using his drones to keep his teammates supported.
