With a returning nAts leading Team Liquid to a win, they would meet Paper Rex (PRX) in the finals of the Swiss stage and put on an instant classic for fans in attendance and at home.

Both teams would be fighting for the final spot in the playoff stage, with PRX fighting for a spot a second time.

PRX would be looking for redemption, while Team Liquid would be looking to put on a battle, to show that they deserve to be on the global stage in Valorant, and a battle is what fans would get.

Map one would be Paper Rex’s pick in Split, with them starting on the defensive side and Team Liquid starting on the Attacking side.

Team Liquid would start hot, winning the first three rounds during the first half, but PRX would play for picks, get defuses off and win the first half.

At the end of the first half, it would be 8-4 in Paper Rex’s favour, with PRX Jinggg leading his team with 13 Kills, 9 Deaths and 2 Assists.

Heading into the second half of Split PRX would continue their onslaught, this time being the attacking team.

They would keep extending their lead and would reach match point at round 20, making it 12-8.

Team Liquid would wake up, and on round 21 would be the round that opened the floodgates as they would battle on A site.

As PRX planted the spike Team Liquids’ PaTiTek would get the first pick and PRX Jingg would spray into the smokes to see if he could get anyone.

He would damage both PaTiTek and Kamo, but wouldn’t get the kill; meanwhile, both of them would eliminate PRX Patmen and D4v41.

PrX F0rsaken would get that info and take PaTITek, and Kamo would trade, killing F0rsaken.

Now with PRX Jinggg all alone on site, he would take out Kieko and Kamo and as he tried to reposition nAts would take the pick and would let Serial take the defuse.

This would start a snowball effect of unfortunate events for the Singaporean team Paper Rex.

The next round would be PRX planting on B site, and Team Liquids’ Kamo, who was playing as Yoru, would pretend to be a clone and fool PRX, Team Liquid would get the win, starting their comeback.

They would make a 12-8 comeback and win map one with a score of 15-13 in overtime.

With Keiko as map MVP with 29 Kills, 19 Deaths and 2 Assists.

For PRX fans it was heartbreaking to see them lose a 12-8 lead, and for the team, they needed to find a way to come back as they were on the verge of elimination.

The last time Paper Rex was eliminated in a VCT major was VCT Champions 2024.

Needing a way to come back from a devastating loss they would move on to Sunset, and here they would change the tide of this match to their side.

They would demolish Team Liquid 13-5, and the 5 rounds Team Liquid won would only come from the first half of the match.

It would be PRX Jinggg who would be the map MVP with 17 Kills, 10 Deaths and 3 Assists.

With the final match of the Swiss stage tied 1-1, fans would be awaiting a map three where no one was expecting a fake comeback from Team Liquid.

In the first half, it would be Paper Rex leading with an incredible lead of 11-1, Team Liquid fans in attendance expected a blowout loss by the time the second half started.

When the second half started, Team Liquid would get two rounds before Paper Rex reached match point.

Now at 12-3, something unexpected would happen where each round, Team Liquid would just win, round after round.

They would do the unthinkable and close the gap, they would go on a 9-round win streak, effectively coming back from a blowout loss and tying the game 12-12.

They would ultimately lose the next two rounds and the match to the dismay of fans and would get eliminated from VCT Masters after the fake comeback.

Paper Rex won and gained the final playoff slot of VCT Masters Toronto.

With the Swiss stage over it would be time for the Playoffs, which would kick off today at 12 P.M. with G2 Esports facing off against the train that is trying to win track by track, Paper Rex.

The final match of the day will be XLG, who will try and stop Sentinels from rolling over the best team in China, which will start at 3 P.M.
