The Paper Rex train didn’t stop at Sen City, and they rolled through the Americas team.

Sentinels, since arriving in Toronto, have had an almost perfect run with a total of 6 map wins and a single map loss.

Paper Rex also an almost perfect run, with a total match record of 3 wins and a loss to Gen.G.

Going into the match, Sentinels would be confident as historically they have a 3-0 record against the Pacific team and Paper Rex would be looking to break their losing record against them.

Going into map one it would be Paper Rex’s pick in Split.

Throughout the season they played Split 6 times and had a win rate of 67 per cent, while Sentinels had more matches on the map, playing it 9 times this season and having a 78 per cent win rate.

Though Sentinels had more reps on the map, they faltered as Paper Rex dominated them on Split.

Paper Rex beat Sentinels 13-3, being in control the entire time and wouldn’t let up going into the half as they would have a lead of 10-2 with Paper Rex’s Jinggg having 15 kills, 7 deaths, and four assists.

Sentinels had a lot of trouble in the first half and many expected them to come back, but Paper Rex continued and closed out the match.

Paper Rex’s Something would be map MVP with a total of 17 kills, 12 Deaths and two Assists.

Going into map two it was Sentinel's pick of Sunset.

Both teams would be entering the map with a 100 per cent win rate.

Sentinels would start the match strong on the defensive side, winning four rounds in a row showing that they were awake this time around.

Sentinels would enter the half this time with a two-round lead, entering the half with 7-5.

Zekken would be leading the team with 15 kills, 6 deaths and 4 assists, while his Filipino counterpart on Paper Rex’s side Patmen this time struggled having 5 kills, 9 deaths and a single assist.
Entering the second half Paper Rex would try and build some momentum, but Sentinels would make this a tight match, creating an exciting back-and-forth.

It wouldn’t be until round 23 that Paper Rex would gain the lead.

With the Singaporean team now bringing it to match point, America's runner-ups would look to bring the match to overtime.

It would be an epic battle on a site with both teams trading players left and right, with a minute and 17 seconds left on the clock Sentinels would plant a spike in a four versus four situation.

Paper Rex would later get the advantage as Patmen and F0rsaken would find themselves against Sentinels Johnqt.

Johnqt would immediately get the kill on Patmen and would try to advance to get the final kill, but F0rsaken miraculously would stick to the defuse and dodge Johnqt’s shots from point-blank range.

Paper Rex would get the win with Jinggg being the match MVP with 39 kills, 27 deaths and 4 assists.

Sentinels would be placed in the losers bracket and be on the edge of elimination while Paper Rex secured the final spot in the winner's bracket finals and would look ahead to face the very hungry, Wolves Esports.
