The perfect John Wick gaming experience isn't his crossovers with Fortnite or Call of Duty. It's the much lesser-known strategy title John Wick Hex, and you have only a couple of days to purchase it. On July 14, publisher Big Fan Games posted an update letting us know the game will be delisted July 17.

Existing owners will be able to play via their digital libraries or physical copies, but won't be able to purchase any new copies via digital storefronts. Physical copies folks, they're fantastic! Bithell Games made the interesting decision to not make this game a shooter or traditional action title, but a tactical strategy jaunt. It's actually a perfect match for the universe of John Wick.

You enter tightly enclosed spaces completely outmanned and outgunned, and have to figure out how to wreck every enemy in the room. After all, Keanu Reeves assassin isn't just the best at shooting and fighting, he is often two to three steps ahead of every enemy. That's how he can do stuff like killing a man with a pencil. A freakin pencil!

John Wick Hex isn't turn-based strategy, but time-based strategy. Wick knows how long each of his enemies actions will take, so you must decide the best usage of the limited time you have. Ammo used and damage taken carry over for several levels, so the more efficient you are the better you're set up for future missions.

Hex also features an original story in which Ian McShane and the late, great Lance Reddick voice their characters from the franchise's ever growing universe. It is the best representation of the Baba Yaga you'll find in gaming, so please run and pick it up before you have to surrender a finger to the High Table to find a copy.
