After a couple of successful betas, Dreamhaven and developer Moonshot Games have released spacefaring shooter Wildgate. Its regular edition is $29.99, while the Renegade Edition, which includes 17 cosmetic items, is $49.99.
In this one, players go into hostile space in search of The Artifact. To successfully get to it, your team will need to pilot your spaceship, find loot, and ,oh yeah, stay alive. Your squad can win by either escaping through the exit point with The Artifact or by eliminating all the other ships.
This dangerous area of space, The Reach, will be procedurally generated for every game, ensuring no two epic space battles play out exactly the same way. Battle alien enemies, navigate through cosmic storms, and battle other prospectors for the sweet, sweet loot before getting out of there.
Choose from a group of unique prospectors with their own abilities and tools to get these dirty jobs done.
“Last month, we held our biggest playtest yet, where hundreds of thousands of players from around the world joined us in Wildgate. During this release, we hit the number two spot among the most-played games on Steam during Next Fest.
