Sagat arrives for Street Fighter 6 Year 3

Get ready, it's about to get seriously Muay Thai up in here. Capcom held its spotlight presentation today, and it's not a Capcom spotlight without a Street Fighter 6 update. They revealed Sagat himself will arrive August 5, with crossplay on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

Sagat will be the newest master in the Street Fighter 6 World Tour, and his adventure will allow players to travel to Thailand. The game is getting ready for this seismic shift, with the Sagat Arrives Fighting Pass starting July 4.

August 5 will also bring the Outfit 4 update, with swimwear available for Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I. Don't worry, the whole roster is getting swimwear, so more will be available at a later date.

In competitive news, the Sajam Slam is going on this weekend pairing 32 top streamers and eight pro-level coaches up in a eight-team battle. There's a trip to EVO 2025 up for grabs. The Finals start June 29 at 3 p.m. ET.

Before you know it, it will be time for Capcom Cup 12, taking place March 11-15 at Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo, Japan. There's a $1 million grand prize up for grabs, so some serious Shoryuken will be happening you can be certain.

Street Fighter 6 has been another Capcom fighting blockbuster with more than 5 million units sold, and winning The Game Award for Fighting Game of The Year. The series is synonymous with fighting games for a reason, you know?
