Actual college football is here, so of course EA Sports is ramping things up in College Football 26. Alumni Vol. 8 hits with Thurman Thomas, Ryan Broyles and Terrence Cody. So far, EA has done a good job of balancing college players who went on to the pros with guys who played their best games in college, and of course, current superstars.
Tim Tebow should be goated in CFB 26. Every time I see him throw a tight spiral on Madden, I want to hurl my controller. The Rush promo is here as well, headlined by Chris "CJ2K" Johnson. People are complaining about the 89 speed and 86 acceleration, but such is the difficulty of generating slightly better cards every couple of weeks for 12 months. He does have a 90 juke move. I probably won't overpay for him, but if I'm lucky enough to pull him (which I won't be) I'm running him for name value alone. Right now I'm running Tiki Barber, and it has been working.
Actually, I'm also running a bunch of Bryce Underwood because mobile QBs are the way I like to play the game. I've also mentioned that my defensive tackle has a couple of hundred yards for me. No, that wasn't a typo. Find out how I'm doing that right here.
