Raw meets Stranger Things will be dumb, but I want it in WWE 2K26 anyway

I can't believe I am not making this up, but WWE Monday Night Raw will present a Stranger Things themed episode on January 5. This is the kind of the stuff the E enthusiastically signed up for it took that big, fat Netflix check.

What does a Stranger Things-themed night even mean? WWE has a fairly long history with occult- based gimmicks, so possibilities are endless. We've seen the Boogeyman, Papa Chango, and of course, its longest-running supernatural characters, Undertaker and Kane. My lovely wife and I were in attendance when Kane and Vince McMahon conspired to bury The Undertaker. Yeah, she actually married me after this, and I'm as shocked as you are.

The Miz once battled zombies in a lumberjack match that helped promote Netflix's Army of the Dead, so there's even an incredibly dumb precedent for whatever we'll see on Monday. Since Netflix and WWE are besties, I'd at least like a Stranger Things-themed arena located, of course, in Hawkins, Indiana, in WWE 2K26.

WWE 2K25 has given us a Mortal Kombat-style, soul-sucking payback with Soul Siphon, so that's also a route they could take. I'll admit, I miss the days of completely gonzo wrasslin' titles such as Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game. A few years the NHL series included an updated version of the classic NHL 94 with modern players. I'd love something similar in a WWE 2K installment. Perhaps now that Acclaim is coming back, they could partner and bring back some of those classic titles.

Yeah, this is basically a wishlist of things I'll admit we are unlikely to get. But Stranger Things stuff in WWE 2K26 seems doable. As much as the WWE loves celebrity appearances, there's probably a decent chance it happens.
