Mess around with your controller vibration settings

This one isn't going to be for everyone, but controller vibration can actually mess with your aim. If you are an avid Call of Duty player and have been playing for more than a decade, you are probably used to playing with controller vibration on. It has been a standard in Call of Duty since the beginning. That is why changing your controller vibration now is going to be easier said than done.

If you turn off your controller vibration, you have a better chance of having a more accurate shot. The reason behind this is the vibration from the controller actually makes it just a tad harder to keep your shot straight and accurate. It may not seem like it at first because it is what a majority of players are used dealing with but turning it off and getting used to it has proven a more accurate shot.

If you decide that you are going to turn off controller vibration and give it a go, it is going to take a lot of time to get used to it. Don't give up after just 3 or 4 games. You might have to bite the bullet and give it a chance for 3 or 4 days. I know it sounds daunting, but if you don't like it after a couple of days, you can change it back. Nothing is ever permanent.

There are tons of different settings that you can change in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but these three are some of the most important if you are looking to improve your gameplay ahead of Season 2.
