The five worst video game movie adaptations (not named Borderlands)

Borderlands The Movie isn't getting any love, but will it be the worst movie adapted from a video game? It would have to beat out some classics.

Dead or Alive (2006)

Who remembers the Dead or Alive movie? If you don’t consider yourself lucky. The film originally released in 2006 before coming to the United States in 2007. Dead or Alive as a gaming franchise is more of a cult-classic entry, never reaching the status of something like Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat or others. It was a surprise to see it was getting a movie nearly 20 years ago, but that surprise didn’t translate into success or interest.

Saying this film has a shoe-string plot would be giving it more credit than deserved. When coupled with the horrible acting, Dead or Alive was dead on arrival, bringing in only 7 million on what was a 30 million budget.
