The First Descendant Pre-load, launch times and system specs
The First Descendant, Nexon's free-to-play RPG looter shooter, launches this week on Tuesday, July 2nd. Ahead of the game's release, the developer has shared launch details, including pre-load availability and system requirements for those playing on PC.
The First Descendant platforms and system specs
The First Descendant will be available on consoles and PC. Specifically, the game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
While it will be playable on PlayStation and Xbox, only the PS5 and Xbox Series X will support features like Balanced Mode and AMD Frame Generation (activated on 120Hz display) and Ray Tracing. The Xbox Series S offers Balanced mode as well, but no Ray Tracing. Graphics options are unavailable for the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox One S.
If playing on PC, Nexon has shared the minimum and recommended specs. The graphic quality will automatically setup on your PC based on specifications at the first moment of gameplay, but graphics can be upscaled or changed manually.

The First Descendant is set to launch on Tuesday, July 2nd, but this will vary based on where you live in the world.
In the United States, it will launch on July 2nd at 12:00 a.m. PDT / 2:00 a.m. CDT / 3:00 a.m. EDT. Other launch times include:
