May is upon us and that means another round of free games through PlayStation Plus.

Sony revealed the PS Plus lineup earlier this week but because the first Tuesday of May hasn't arrived yet, you won't be able to claim them until next week.

Four free games are coming to PlayStation Plus Monthly lineup: EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, and Destiny 2: Lightfall. It's honestly a fantastic lineup.

EA Sports FC 24 is basically the latest installment in EA's annual FIFA series, which had to be renamed when the publisher's partnerhsip with FIFA concluded. This year's game hyped HypermotionV and PlayStyles oprimized by Opta as its two biggest features. Combined with the enhanced Frostbite engine, EA Sports FC 24 aims to be the most realistic football (soccer) sim to date.

If you're not a fan of soccer, you can always try Ghostrunner 2, the sequel 2020's first-person action platformer from One More Level and 505 Games. Ghostrunner 2 takes us back to a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future where DharmaTower has fallen into chaos. With different factions vying for control over the tower, Ghostrunner Jack, who has been mysterious reactivated, works with the Climbers, a rebel faction, to establish a government council.

Ghostrunner 2 builds upon the success of its action-packed predecessor with a stamina meter to make things a bit more difficult, several new abilities to deal with various combat scenarios and puzzles, and vehicular combat.

Also coming to PS Plus in May is Tunic, an isometric action game about a fox on a big adventure. Released in 2022, Tunic is a gem of a game in which you explored a fantasy land filled with lost legends, ancient powers and ferocious monsters.

And last but not least, PS Plus owners can claim Destiny 2: Lightfall. The latest expansion takes Guardians to Neptune where they'll join the Cloud Striders to fight against the Shadow Legion and prevent the destruction of the technology advanced secret city of Neomuna. Desitny 2: Lightfall introduces new Dark Powers with the Strand subclass, plus more.

The arrival of Lightfall through PS Plus comes just a few months after members were able to grab Destiny 2: The Witch Queen for free. Assuming you claimed The Witch Queen while it was available, these two expansions should provide a good chunk of content for the long-running multiplayer shooter.

All four of these games will be available to download for PlayStation Plus members starting on May 7th.
