PS Plus: Free PS4 and PS5 games for April 2024

Another month means more free games! If you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber of any kind (Essential, Extra, or Premium), you are gearing up for another month with three more free game heading your way.

Sony announced via their PlayStation Blog the three games gamers will be getting for being a loyal PlayStation Plus subscriber. The three games are Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer. Three games that couldn't be more different than one antother. Plus, PlayStation Plus members will also be receiving an Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle exclusive to PlayStation Plus members.

Immortals of Aveum (PlayStation 5)

Immortals of Aveum is a single-player, first-person shooter that follows the character Jax. Jax is thrown into the hostile world Aveum that he must try and save. You will have Magic and Spells at your disposal to try and help save your world. With the world slowly falling apart, it is up to Jax to save Aveum and rid the world of all its evil.

Minecraft Legends (PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5)

Minecraft Legends lets you dive into the world of Minecraft, but in a much different way than the original Sandbox game. In Minecraft Legends, the Piglins have invaded the Overworld. It is up to you, your friends, and famously familiar mobs to defeat those pesky Piglins. With many Biomes on the brink of destruction, do you have what it takes to save the Overworld? Minecraft Legends has a single-player and an online multiplayer mode so you can put your battling skills and strategy to the ulitmate test.

Skul: The Hero Slayer (PlayStation 4)

If you are a fan of platformers, Skul: The Hero Slayer is definitely going to be a game you'll want to check out. The game takes place during a time where the Demon King's castle is attacked, and everyone but Skul has been captured and imprisoned. With Skul the only hope to save the King and all of the prisoners, it is up to you to make sure Skul becomes the Hero of this story.

Three very different games, but three games that will surely captivate you if you are looking to try something new.

Also, do not forget to take advantage of the Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle. All you have to do to claim the Mega Bundle is make sure that Overwatch 2 is already downloaded. Once downloaded, the Mega Bundle will automatically be available in-game immediately. Anyone can take advantage of this bundle whether you are a new or existing player.

If you have not taken advantage of March's free PlayStation Plus games, you still have until April 1 to do so. Those games are EA Sports F1 23, Sifu, Hello Neighbor 2 and Destiny 2: Witch Queen. There are some great games in the library, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of playing some of these great games for free.
