NFC East

Dallas Cowboys: Micah Parsons, LB

Micah Parsons is the catalyst on a Dallas Cowboys defense that has ranked at the top of the NFL in a number of categories since he was drafted in 2022. He is the epitome of a difference maker, and he is capable of making that difference every time he steps onto the gridiron.

Philadelphia Eagles: A.J. Brown, WR

The fact that the Philadelphia Eagles got A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans for what they did is still mind boggling. Brown is often accused of stirring up drama, and while that may or may not be true, he is still a top wide receiver in the league and would undoubtedly be an asset on any Backyard Football roster, where drama isn’t always a bad thing.

New York Giants: Brian Burns, LB

Continuing the trend of players who haven’t played a down yet for their new team, we have Brian Burns, who was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the New York Giants this offseason. Burns was an impact player on a team depleted of stars, and he was always considered a hot commodity at the trade deadline.

Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin, WR

Terry McLaurin is a better wide receiver than the statistics suggest, and the statistics suggest he’s a top 10 pass catcher in the NFL. He has recorded four straight seasons of 1,000 yards and averaged more than 1,000 yards over five years in the NFL, despite having played with 11 (!) different quarterbacks (and three different team names). He is the silver lining for an otherwise miserable franchise.
