Was there ever any doubt? It doesn’t matter who you are, how old you were, or what kind of PC you were playing on. You will never forget the first time you completed Dragon Slayer – and quite possibly the first time you attempted it and ended up getting cooked by Elvarg.

Like Demon Slayer, this quest requires you to hunt down three items in order to unlock the main item. In this case, three map pieces are needed to be able to set sail to Crandor.

This quest is much more complicated than Demon Slayer, and getting the three map pieces is much more complicated than simply talking to the right NPCs. Specifically, Melzar’s Maze is quite the challenge, though you can get through it quicker simply by knowing which of each monster to defeat, based on the small details of each.

While defeating the level 82 lesser demon to complete the maze is one thing, the battle with level 83 Elvarg is a much greater challenge – at least much greater than the one-level difference makes it appear on paper.

The introduction of her dragonfire special attack, which hits accurately even through the anti-dragon shield, could result in low-level players running out of food quite quickly.

You don’t realize how long you’ve played the game until you speedrun this quest in under 20 minutes after it took you weeks, if not months, to complete as a kid. You can only be a true noob once.
