5. The Knight’s Sword

Difficulty: 4/10
Nostalgia: 9/10
Storyline: 8/10
Overall: 7.6/10

The Knight’s Sword comes in second among the very few quests that still exist in their original form on RuneScape 3 back from their Old School RuneScape days. You are tasked with creating another blurite sword after Sir Vyvin’s squire lost the knight’s ceremonial weapon.

To do so, you need the aid of a number of different NPCs across the free-to-play world, making this one of the more travel-heavy quests for free players. Additionally, you need to figure out a way to find out what the sword looked like without the knight knowing it is lost.

This is one of the very few quests that actually has a requirement to begin. In fact, it is the only free-to-play quest that actually has a skill requirement to complete: level 10 Mining for the portion of the quest where you actually must retrieve the blurite.

Fortunately, level 10 Mining is achieved by doing Doric’s Quest, which also happens to be the closest free-to-play quest to the starting point of the Knight’s Sword.

This quest isn’t all that difficult, per se, but the part where you have to mine the blurite ore may be a bit challenging for lower level players due to the presence of ice warriors and ice giants in the area.
