11. Vampyre Slayer

When it comes to the three Slayer quests, Vampyre Slayer comes in third place simply because of its simplicity. Count Draynor is terrorizing the village and you are tasked with killing him, and you must learn how to do so from an old vampyre slayer, Dr. Harlow, in Varrock.

Aside from using a hammer and the stake which Harlow provides, it is important to weaken the vampyre by taking a clove of garlic from Morgan’s house, which is where you begin the quest. All you need is one clove; don’t fill your inventory like I did as a kid, sacrificing potentially necessarily food in the process.

Worth noting, you don’t actually have to use the hammer and stake on the vampyre; simply having them in your inventory will suffice.

This is a quest that you should get out of the way as soon as you are capable of completing it combat-wise, as there is a nice Attack experience reward associated with it – and you get that reward as soon as Count Draynor drops dead in the cellar of Draynor Manor.
