New Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One game releases for June 2024
In a little over a week, Microsoft will kick off its Xbox Games Showcase, giving us a look at some of the highly anticipated games coming to Xbox platforms. Some of these games will be released this year, while others may be a few years off.
But if you're itching to play something right now, we've got a slew of new game releases set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S in June.
The highlight is undoubtedly Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The latest expansion, releasing on June 4, marks the end of the war between the Light and Darknes, concluding Destiny's first major saga. The Light and Darkness Saga began over 10 years ago with the release of the original Destiny. Now Guardians will confront the franchise's major villain, the Witness, in the Pale Heart — "an unraveling landscape that echoes with the deeds of our past."
Aside from Destiny 2, the other major expansion coming in June is Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Two years after we first embarked on an adventure through The Lands Between, the first major expansion to FromSoftware's critically acclaimed action role-playing game will take us to the Land of Shadow — "a place obscured by the Erdtree where the goddess Marika first set foot." New lands, new weapons, and new enemies await in this mysterious and highly anticipated expansion.
Let's take a look at all of the new games coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in June 2024:
