It's hard to believe we're almost in June. This year is flying by but that's to be expected when you've been immersed in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Helldivers 2, and other blockbusters.

As we prepare to turn the calendar page, we're taking a look at what's set to arrive on PlayStation consoles in June. And while summer is typically a slower time of year for gaming, there's plenty coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 next month.

Up first is Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the next massive expansion for Bungie's long-running sci-fi shooter that will conclude the Light and Darkness Saga that first began 10 years ago with the original Destiny.

Then we've got V Rising, a survival action RPG adventure in which you awaken as a weakened Vampire and must hunt for blood to regain your strength. V Rising has been playable on PC for a while now but will be making its PS5 debut on June 11.

But perhaps the biggest release of next month is the highly anticipated expansion to Elden Ring. It's been two years since we first traversed the Lands Between, and now we can finally return. Only this time, we are beckoned to the Land of Shadow, a place obscured by the Erdtree where the goddess Marika first set foot. I'll admit, the story of Elden Ring is lost upon me, but I love the gameplay and can't wait to dive into all the new skills and bosses the expansion has to offer.
