While many of you are probably still playing through the recent release of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, or maybe even Princess Peach: Showtime! from March, June is right around the corner.

And yes, that means more games are on the way. While summer is typically a slow time for new game releases, we're kicking things off with a bang on June 4th with the release of Star Wars Hunters.

This free-to-play PvP arena shooter is developed by Zynga and will be released on mobile devices adn the Nintendo Switch. Set between the events of Episode VI and Episode VII, Star Wars Hunters sends players to the planet of Vespaara to participate in high-stakes matches that take place across a range of battlegrounds inspired by iconic Star Wars locations.

With a variety of game modes to choose from and numerous characters to play as, Star Wars Hunters should provide tons of FREE fun for fans around the galaxy.

On June 14th, we're getting two big releases in Monster Hunter Stories and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Monster Hunter Stories is a spin-off of Capcom's Monster Hunter series. Rather than playing as a Hunter, you take on the role of a Rider who raises and trains monsters. Monster Hunter Stories was originally release for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017, but is now coming to the Nintendo Switch with remastered visuals and gameplay and fully voiced.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is another remaster of sorts. Dubbed the "definitive version" of the previously released Shin Megami Tensei V, the game features a brand-new storyline — "Canon of Vengeance" — in addition to the original "Canon of Creation." This new story path is a dramatic tale of revenge by the fallen, "centered around new characters and an enigmatic cohort of demons, the Qadištu, who plot their own dark designs apart from the war of those who fight to maintain order and those who seek to defy it."

Closing out the month, we've got Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, a remaster of 2013's action adventure Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. In the game, you play as Luigi as he explores a series of haunted mansions in Evershade Valley, capturing ghosts using a specialized vacuum cleaner, the Poltergust 5000.
