Minecraft has become one of the most popular video games of all time since its full release in 2011. Over the past decade and a half, there have been some pretty spectacular creations. The open-world sandbox game has provided so many endless possibilities that Minecraft has grown bigger than Mojang every could have expected. With Minecraft constantly expanding, it is set to expand even further with their very own subscription service called the Marketplace Pass.

What does Minecraft's Marketplace Pass have to offer?

The new Minecraft Marketplace Pass will be released by Microsoft and cost subscribers $3.99 per month. The Minecraft Marketplace Pass will only be available to those using the Minecraft: Bedrock version.

For those who plan on purchasing a subscription the new Marketplace Pass, you will be granted with access to over 150 different content packs from the Marketplace each month. Every month the content will be refreshed, and you will be able to choose from new and exciting content.

The Marketplace Pass will have a wide variety of content to download. There will be tons of Skin Packs, Texture Packs, Adventure Maps, Survival Maps, and so much more. It is everything you love about Minecraft and thrown into one subscription service that will be updating on a monthly basis.

Not only will this grant players the opportunity to explore all the great content created by some of the great Minecraft creators, but it will allow you to explore some content you may have never thought about purchasing before.

Unforuntately, if you really liked the content that is given to you in the Marketplace Pass, you are going to need to purchase it once the items leave the service. For example, if you really enjoyed a Texture Pack and it was removed the next month once the Marketplace is refreshed, you will need to purchase the Texture Pack individually to continue using that Texture Pack long term.

The same goes for any special worlds created such as Survival Maps and Adventure Maps. These worlds that you create won't be deleted when they are taken off the Marketplace Pass, but they will be unplayable until you decide you want to purchase them for yourself. Nothing is ever deleted from your Local Storage until you decide to delete them for yourself.

The new Minecraft Marketplace Pass has a lot to offer for only $3.99 per month. If you were wondering when you can get in on the action, you can subscribe to the Marketplace Pass as soon as TODAY! Minecraft is always looking for ways to expand and only time will tell as to how the subscription service world suits them.
