Marvel Games is teasing a new video game with a reveal set for Wednesday, March 27th.

The official social media account posted a single teaser that showed the silhouettes of numerous super heroes (and maybe some villains) charging in a the same direction. We don't know what's on the other side that they are charging towards, but perhaps another team?

New game rumored to be called Marvel Rivals

There are rumors that this secret Marvel game is actually titled Marvel Rivals. There are reports that the game, which is rumored to be in development by NetEase, is a 6v6 Hero shooter in a similar vein to Overwatch. Obviously, the playable heroes would be Marvel characters.

The game will be played as a third-person shooter. Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Luna Snow, Punisher, Rocket, Groot, Loki, Spider-Man, Hulk, Magik, Magneto, Mantis, Storm, Peni Parker, Black Panther are some of the playable characters being thrown around right now.

Keep in mind, this is all speculation and rumors for now. Leaks are making their way across social media, but nothing is confirmed until the reveal drops.

When will this mysterious Marvel game be revealed?

Marvel Games has confirmed that the reveal will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET. They didn't provide a livestream or link or anything, but I imagine we'll get a trailer posted to the usual places (YouTube, Twitter/X, etc.).

NetEase primarily spcializes in mobile and PC games which could indicate that Marvel Rivals will be released for these platforms. However, many are holding out hope that it could also come to consoles.

This wouldn't be NetEase's first foray into the Marvel universe as the developer has created Marvel Super War and Marvel Duel. Other mobile games from the studio include The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, Identity V, LifeAfter, and Harry Potter: Magik Awakened.
