The 2023 NFL season only just came to a close with the Kansas City Chiefs crowned the Super Bowl champions, defeating the San Francisco 49ers in a overtime thriller 25-22. And with that, it's on to the 2024 season and Madden 25 (or whatever this year's Madden game will be titled).

Despite EA not yet announcing this year's Madden game, it's never too soon to talk football and player ratings. So today we're predicting who we think will be the best-rated quarterbacks in Madden 25 at launch.

The 2023 season saw the emergence of some young talent at quarterback. C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans) and Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers) exceeded expectations, leading their respective teams to the playoffs. Meanwhile, veterans like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Dak Prescott continued to prove they are top-tier talent.

How will their performance this past season impact their ratings heading into Madden 25? Let's jump in!

Predicting the best-rated quarterbacks in Madden 25

10. C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans) - 81 OVR

This is probably my boldest prediction on the list. C.J. Stroud had a magnificent rookie season, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 23 touchdowns. What's more impressive is the fact he only threw five interceptions. In his first season as a starter in the NFL, Stroud led the Texans to the AFC Divisional Round.

Stroud finished the season with an 80 overall rating in Madden 24. With a year under his belt and another offseason to fine-tune his mechanics, I could see EA giving him a small uplift in his rating, and possibly having him crack the top 10. It was a tough choice between Stroud and Love, but I give the edge to Love. It's possible they are both rated 83 overall heading into the season.
