The second year of the new LEC format for League of Legends has started, and only three games remain before the 2024 winter split progresses.

The 2024 LEC winter split will be different from its inaugural season a year ago, as there will only be two stages instead of three. The first stage is a single round-robin that will see the top eight teams advance, with the remaining two eliminated from contention. Then, the remaining eight teams will be placed in a double-elimination playoff bracket to decide the winter split champion.

Winning the 2024 LEC winter split will guarantee the team a place at the Mid-Season Invitational tournament, one of the two international competitions in League of Legends.

The winter split has already begun, as the first stage is past the halfway point. Heading into the final three games of the opening stage, every team still has a chance to advance. Although, new competitor Karmine Corp is struggling with a winless record through six games.

The competition is still up for grabs because a majority of the teams are within just one game of each other. Since the competition is heating up, fans need to know the upcoming schedule for the final few games.
