How to Play NBA 2K24's MyTEAM Away From Your Console
NBA 2K24 continues to have plenty of game modes on offer for gamers of all types. This includes the return of the always super popular MyTEAM mode. This mode allows you to collect cards of NBA players to help you form your dream super team.
Once you have a squad, you can play in modes like Domination and Triple Threat among others. Domination is a single-player experience letting you play against multiple teams for a shot at card prizes. Triple Threat is a three-on-three mode that's a lot like playing in The City or Neighborhood and you can play in both single-player and online. You get prizes each game and you get extra rewards if you get on a winning streak.
But perhaps you're looking to get your MyTEAM fix away from your console or PC. Maybe you're out and about or maybe you're just chilling on your couch or bed and want to get your hoop on. Well, 2K rolled out a new mobile app dedicated to MyTEAM.
It's really cool actually, as it allows you to sync your account from your main platform so that your full team and collection of cards appear in the app. And then, you essentially have access to the full MyTEAM experience right in your phone, tablet or iPad.
So you can collect more cards, play games and even head to practice and get yourself familarized with your players abilities and animations. I say "even" because most mobile sports games don't really offer free form practice modes. This, I feel is important since you're changing up your team on a regular basis with MyTEAM so you'll have a chance to get comfortable with them.
The game looks and plays smoothly overall. Just make sure to double check and see which devices work best with the MyTEAM app. But it's on both the Google Play Store and on the App Store so no matter which kind of device you have, you can get it.
And if you play NBA 2K Mobile, then you'll be happy to know that the controls are basically the same for the NBA 2K24 MyTEAM app. Yup, there shouldn't be much to learn, control wise. Just get yourself familiarized with your players and you'll be good to go.
