Tips for beginning Diablo 4
If this is your first time playing Diablo 4, it's recommended that you create a character in the Seasonal realm, but do not check the "Skip Campaign" option. Seasons are recurrent, time-limited events with unique challenges, rewards and gameplay changes. Once a season ends, your seasonal characters and their progress are converted to "non-seasonal" characters.
Because of this, you'll want to first make your way through Diablo 4's story using a seasonal character at launch. this way, once you progress through the story, you can roll a new character for Season 4, which arrives in May.
