Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree trailer, release date and pre-order details

At long last, Bandai Namco has revealed Elden Ring's highly anticipated DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. It's been nearly two years since the expansion was first teased, but now we have a release date, and trailer to go with it.

The three-minute trailer reveals that Shadow of the Erdtree will take us to the Land of Shadow where Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord. We also get a glimpse at some of the new enemies and bosses we'll be facing in the DLC.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree release date and platforms

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will release this summer on June 21. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Shadow of the Erdtree pre-orders now available

Shadow of the Erdtree is currently available for pre-order. Buying it ahead of launch will get you the Bonus Gesture.

If you already own Elden Ring, the expansion on its own is available digitally for $39.99. If you need the full base game plus the expansion, then you can buy it as a bundle for $79.99. This includes the PS4 and PS5 versions of Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree.

There's also the Shadow of the Erdtree Premium bundle which includes the DLC expansion, pre-order bonus, and the Shadow of the Erdtree Artbook and Soundtrack. This is priced at $49.99.

Finally, for the more passionate Elden Lords, there's the Shadow of the Erdtree Collector's Edition. Availalbe through the Bandai Namco store for $249.99, this includes everything in the Premium bundle along with a 46cm Messmer the Impaler Figure.
