Dragon's Dogma 2: Create Your Character Now Before Launch

Capcom has revealed a few new tidbits for Dragon's Dogma 2 ahead of its release later this month. Along with a new gameplay overview trailer, they also announced that the character creator is available now on all platforms. For those who spend a lot of time on their character, you know how much of a time saver this will be come launch day and allow you to jump right into the game.

The character creator and storage are available to download on all platforms Dragon's Dogma 2 will release on: Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. It's a free download, of course, and once you are done all the characters will transfer over to the full game. There will be a good amount of storage as well with players being able to create up to five main characters and pawns each to take on your journey.

Along with the character creator, Capcom is letting us try out a bit of our con-man style gameplay. A new feature mentioned in the trailer allows us to complete quests by turning in items.

Now, of course, this is not in any way new, but rather HOW you complete the items. Instead of going on a quest to find whatever item you may need, we will be able to craft replicas, counterfeit items and attempt to pass them off as the real thing to complete our task.

According to Capcom, there are over 1,000 characters in Dragon's Dogma 2 and each one has their own back story and motive in the game. Also, they show you how our interactions not only impact the character we are interacting with at the time, but other characters associated with that NPC as well.

All in all, Dragon's Dogma 2 is shaping up to be an absolute giant of a game. it will be available on March 22 on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. Good luck Arisen!
